Legion d'Honneur
Lebanese businessman Gaby Fawzi Tamer, Vice President of the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Board of Directors at G. Tamer Holding, received yesterday a Legion of Honor from the French state, from the French Ambassador Denis PIETTON, which was given by President Nicolas SARKOZY, in recognition of his work to strengthen and develop economic relations between Lebanon and France for more than 30 years as stated by the French ambassador during a tradition medal in “Al-Sanawbar Palace” in the presence of ministers, deputies, heads of economic organizations, family and friends.
For his part, Mr. Gaby Tamer thanked the French state and its president Mr. Sarkozy for the kind gesture and also thanked the Ambassador Denis PIETTON for all the support provided by the Beirut Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which allowed us to implement the exhibition "La France au Liban" and to be prepared for the exhibition "Le Liban en France" in October at the Conference Palace in Paris. This exhibition will demonstrate the quality of the Lebanese production in all areas of economic, industrial, cultural, tourism and art and which will be the result of significant cooperation between the Lebanese and French Chambers of Commerce.
