Go Green
The G. Tamer Holding Company chose to completely get involved in the ecology and protection of the environment in Lebanon. In this line of action and after a successful experience at Chabrouh, Gaby Tamer, the holding’s CEO, his wife and family headed to Ouyoun al- Simane in order to plant 1000 “Cedrus Libani, a Lebanese symbol by excellence.
This operation in process, the insatiable CEO decides to engage his entire world in the protection of the environment, initiating the “Go Green” programme more that 3 years ago, that consists in “reforesting Lebanon”.
The group immediately got into contact with “Jouzour Loubnan”, with a prime objective to contribute to the restoration of the forest cover of Lebanon in arid regions and to ensure sustainability of the reforestation through its maintenance, watering and gardening programme.
One of «Go Green» first projects focused on a futuristic vision, the Chabrouh Dam, where 'Cedrus libani' seeds were planted.
This year, the choice went towards Ouyoun el Simane in Faraya. On a beautiful sunny morning, Saturday, October 8, over 250 people from G Tamer Holding gathered up with their families to take part in this operation.
